The year 2016 found us back in the show ring with a renewed sense of hope, a promising puppy and more confidence than ever. On April 2nd, 2016 we said goodbye to our sweet Courtney.   (HIGHLEDGE TALKIN TRADITION).The reigning Matriarch of Highledge, we were extremely sad about her passing, however we celebrate the wonderful long and healthy life she had, and her immeasurable contributions to Highledge. Just three weeks later on April 21st, 2016we received the news that the beautiful Rumor (HIGHLEDGE RUMOR HAS IT ) passed away. With a beautiful litter of seven darling puppies that were just three weeks old, Rumor fell ill with an infection and did not recover. Words can not describe the depth of our grief. Rumor was just six years old. The year 2016 also brought us two new CHAMPIONS .  On August 5th 2016  HIGHLEDGE HAUTE COUTURE (Prada) finished her championship in just FIVE shows, with FOUR Winners Female and ONE Reserve Winners Female  We are so very proud of the job that her owner Brigitte Verreault, (Debrimar Shelties) has done conditioning and showing her.  Prada is the second Champion for her sire CH HIGHLEDGE GRAND STAND CGN RA CD. Also finishing in 2016, was our very handsome puppy MBBPIG MBPIG BPISS CH HIGHLEDGE REMINISCE. Tanner was a puppy with a wonderful attitude who    finished in just SEVEN  shows, with a number of fabulous wins, including; 1 Best Baby Puppy in Group (all Breed) 1 Best Baby Puppy in Group (Limited Group Seven) 2 Best Puppy in Group (all Breed) 1 Best Puppy in Group (Limited Group Seven) 1 Specialty Winners Dog & Best of Winners 1 Best Puppy in Specialty (DCSSA) 1 Group Second We could not be more proud of the beautiful puppy. We closed out the year with a beautiful litter of puppies by GREENDOR RAVENSOURT PLAYBOY out of  BPIG CHAMPION HIGHLEDGE  PANTS ON FIRE . We are hoping to find our next Champion in this special litter.
