HIGHLEDGE TALKIN TRADITION “COURTNEY” BIS/ BISS AM/CAN CH CLASSY TRESTA BRONSON ROMC  x  BISS CH HIGHLEDGE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT  August 12th 2002  ~ April 2nd 2016       

"Courtney"  stood 15 1/4 inches tall, had a beautiful full round muzzle, coal black eyes, and expression that  melted hearts.  She  possessed sufficient  bone and coat, and an endearing personality. "Courtney"  never liked the show ring, and much prefered to guard the end of the bed.  Not one to argue with her, that's where she stayed. She proved herself to be an outstanding producer and is the dam of three Champions including   CH. HIGHLEDGE IRISH CREAM ROMC (Sire of 22 Champions)  BPIG CH. HIGHLEDGE DREAM A LITTLE DREAM (dam of 3 Champions including ASSA National Reserve Winners Bitch 2011) and BPIG CH.  HIGHLEDGE SAVOUR THE MEMORY.  She has made a HUGE contribution to our breeding program, and had significant influence in a number of other kennels.  "Courtney"  retired and remained here at Highledge until her death in April of 2016.. Courtney is pictured above at almost 13.  She was still as beautiful as ever.  At 13, and being the Reigning Matriarch of Highledge, Courtney still claimed "the ball bitch" title. She looked amazing! There is nothing more   "FUN"    than attacking a lion !!!!!!......  Even if it is ONLY a  dandelion. This beautiful painting was done by Heather Anderson, using the above photo of Courtney at 6 weeks of age.  We think she captured her beautifully!
