The year 2017 was unusually quiet at Highledge, with just a
couple of litters, and almost no shows.
We did have a NEW Champion in BBPIS MBPIG CH HIGHLEDGE
THE PATRIOT, (pictured on the right) owned and shown by
Brigitte Verreault. This pair made us proud, with their BEST
BABY PUPPY IN SHOW, and their multiple BEST PUPPY IN GROUP
wins.
It was with a broken heart that we said good-bye to Paige
(HIGHLEDGE FOLLOWING TRADITION) in August. Always one of
our favourites she was taken from us suddenly, after a
routine dental surgery. We were heart broken.
Paige is the Grand-dam to our beautiful Dottie (BPIG CH.
HIGHLEDGE PANTS ON FIRE) and Tanner (BPISS CH HIGHLEDGE
REMINISCE) and Great-Grand dam to Harley (HIGHLEDGE LIAR
LIAR) and Annie (HIGHLEDGE MOI AUSSI). We value her HUGE
contributions to our HIGHLEDGE family.
